Heineken and Formula One Management have recently announced a partnership. What will Heineken’s admittedly pretty good ad department bring to F1? What about social media? And more importantly, will Martini be willing to keep their awesome Williams sponsorship with a differing drink brand at the head of F1 advertising?

I bought a 6-pack of Heineken tonight because of the deal, so it’s already working!
I’m excited to see what they will do, F1 is infamous for lagging behind the modern age and I think even Ecclestone can see it’s an area where he needs to improve. Heineken has the knowledge to make it happen and the potential value of the deal will motivate them to spend the money necessary.

This. There is so much untapped media potential for F1, and I think Heineken are the guys to make it happen. When 2017 rolls around its just gonna get better, with awesome cars and presumably awesome racing, and suitably awesome advertisement.

It is great on a really hot day. It’s skunky as hell, but not sweet and bitter. I’ve not found many better hot weather beers.
